Mission
The main mission of RIAM is to provide a space for meeting, information, and sharing among agroecology actors in Morocco, fostering synergies between initiatives. RIAM is composed of individuals, collectives, or independent structures united by the agroecological approach and its values.
RIAM works to foster the emergence and development of agroecology in Morocco by sharing common and transversal objectives across various activities:
Contributing to the autonomy of communities,
Contributing to food sovereignty and health,
Contributing to the preservation and enhancement of universal natural heritage.
RIAM’s Objectives to Achieve Its Mission
Connect agroecology actors in Morocco: Through the exchange of information, the capitalization of experiences, and pooling of energies towards common goals. This aims to provide a space for learning the “art of doing together,” enabling the emergence of a collective, active way of being, and co-creating a shared vision—ensuring coherence.
Support agroecological initiatives in Morocco: Offering them visibility and common recognition, identifying and mobilizing useful resources for project implementation, and enhancing the skills of the actors involved.
Inspire civil society as a whole: Raising awareness about urgency, spreading alternatives, and promoting agroecological initiatives. Encouraging mobilization and inspiring the emergence of new initiatives.
